U18 Starts first camp of the season

The training camp will be three days long before the tournament that will be starting on Thursday. The team will be put through two on ice practices on the first two days with the roster being cut down on Tuesday. The team also had a fitness test as well. The final tournament roster will working together on Wednesday with Hungary starting the tournament on Thursday against Poland at 19:15

The other two teams participating in the tournament will be Slovakia and the U20 team of Romania.

This is the first training camp of the U18 national team program which will culminate with the U18 Division 1/B World Championships that will be held on home ice in Székesfehérvár this coming April.

Bence Svasznek, head coach: Since we only have training camps this season during the international breaks we need to take advantage of when we work with the players. This is a great opportunity to see the players in game action during the week. We want to see the tactics and systems that we teach the players to be reflected during the games.
