Hungary preparing for their second game against Poland

It was clear after the game that despite the win neither the players nor the coaching staff was happy with the performance on the ice. Hungary will be looking to improve their play in the defensive zone and bring out the puck quicker. Zoltán Hetényi will get the start with Ádám Vay serving as the backup, not playing will be Miklós Rajna and Bence Bálizs. Also not playing because of health issues is János Hári and István Bartalis with Tamás Pozsgai being the defenceman sitting the game.

István Terbócs switched places with Tamás Sárpátki as Terbócs will be with Vas and Magosi. Krisztián Nagy will be with Erdély and Bodó with Miskolczi playing with Benk and Sárpátki. On the back side there were changes made as well, Stipsicz will be with Szabó, Wehrs and Szirányi will be paired together and Varga will be with Kiss.

Gergely Majoross: One of the biggest problems that we had was the way we started the game off, we want to change this today. We also were not strong in bring the puck out of the defensive zone. This was because the opponent was strong and did not let us do this. We will be working on the special teams as well. I don’t think that I can put all the changes in the same category, we are trying to get the most information possible on the players and we are testing them in different positions. Some players we were happy with others we were not, based off of this we are trying to find the best possible combinations despite missing some players.
