Hungarian national team defenceman Balázs Gőz has moved up a level as he was called up from the SPHL by the Norfolk Admirals of the ECHL.

The Norfolk Admirals of the ECHL have called up Balázs Gőz who had one assist in ten games with the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs of the ECHL.

Gőz had an interesting first game with the Admirals as he literally got to the game just in time. “The game was a 19:05 faceoff and I arrived in from the airports at 18:50, and made it onto the ice just as the American anthem was being played”.

The Norfolk Admirals are one of the former teams of Andrew Sarauer and are currently coached by former Bruins, Devils and Kings head coach Robbie Ftorek.

Gőz does not know yet what the team has planned for him in the long run, for now he is just going game by game.
