Bence Bálizs, the MAC goalie, had already missed the previous ERSTE Liga game, because of an injury, he had hopped that he would be 100% by this weekend however because of the risk of it getting worse the decision was made that he would miss this match.
Taking the place on the roster will be the young netminder Gergely Arany. If he steps on the ice Arany would be making his national team debut. However this would not be the first time making the national team. At the 2017 Division 1/A World Championships in Kiev, Arany had served the the third string, emergency goalie but did not play in any games.
Along with Arany, the UTE forward Justin Cseter will be making his Hungarian national team debut.
Hungary will be taking on Poland at 19:00 on Saturday September 30th, tickets are still available.
