KalPa-Djurgarden 2-0
Balázs Sebők was back on the ice after missing about a week because of a shoulder injury. The Swedish club was the stronger team on paper and on the ice however KalPa won where it mattered and that was on the scoreboard as Alexander Ruuttu scored in the first period with Matias Myttynen scored an empty netter. Balázs Sebők did not pick up a point in the game, KalPa now has a two goal lead as the head into the second leg in Stockholm.
Balázs Sebők: To be honest they were the better team all along however our goalie played great. What was positive was that we were able to win a game in which the opponent controlled the pace. I hope in Stockholm we will play better, pick up the win and move onto the next round.
