Fehérvár AV19-MAC Újbuda 6-3 (1-1, 4-2, 1-0)
The Hungarian Cup final was played in front of a full house in a great atmosphere. The game started off better for MAC as Keegan Dansereau scored in the first minute of play. The MAC chances kept on coming but they were not able to beat Mac Carruth. Later in the period it looked like MAC would double their lead but in the end they only hit the post. Before the period was out Bence Stipsicz beat Rajna with an absolute rocket to tie the game up at 1-1. The second period started off with a quick visitors goal as John Negrin scored in the first minute of play when the shot redirected off of a Fehérvár stick. Fehérvár answered back a minute when Dávid Szabó put a shot on net that was redirected by Anze Kurlat for the tying goal. The teams kept on going as for the third time in the game MAC took a one goal game when Tomas Klempa won a battle behind the net and fed the puck to Dansereau who banged it home. Fehérvár again came back this time Csanád Erdély scoring the goal. In the 29th minute Fehérvár scored to give Fehérvár their first lead of the game when János Hári set up Kurlat for the goal, minutes later Sárpátki and Reisz combined on a 2 on 1 to make the score 5-3. In the final period Meland picked up a 2+2 penalty but MAC was unable to score on it. In the end Kurlat completed his hat trick with an empty net score. For the first time since 2016, Fehérvár AV19 won the Hungarian Cup.
DVTK Jegesmedvék-FTC-Telekom 0-3 (0-1, 0-1, 0-1)
Fradi started off better but DVTK also started to create chance but neither team was able to get the puck past the goalies, Attila Adorján and József Pleszkán. Ferencváros took the first lead of the game when Richárd Tóth put home a rebound for the goal. In the second period the visitors doubled their lead off of a goal by Brett Switzer. In the third period DVTK was not able to get much closer, with about two minutes left in the game DVTK pulled their goalie for the extra attacker but in the end Krisztián Dósa scored the third Fradi goal.
