Dunaújvárosi Acélbikák-Corona Brasov 2-5 (0-3, 1-1, 1-1)
Corey Bricknell made his coaching debut on the Dunaújváros bench. The new coach could not really be satisfied with what he saw in the first period of play from his new team. DAB started off better nad created more scoring chances but it was Brasov that was scoring the goals. In the fourth minute Jereme Tendler beat Máté Garbacz with shot off of a back door pass, ten minutes later Roberto Gliga scored with Tendler scoring his second goal of the period to make it 3-0.
In the second period the game was a lot more balanced, Brasov had chances to score two separate short handed goals but Garbacz stuffed both opportunities. Levente Zsók stuffed home a rebound from up close to open up a 4-0 lead. After a big save by Garbacz, Martin Saluga scored on the other end to end the shutout that Polc had going to make it 4-1.
In the third period DAB started to put pressure on the Brasov cage but they were not able to get any closer as Tendler completed his hat trick to make it 5-1, in the closing minutes Vladimir Dubek found a later DAB goal to set the final at 5-2.

Corey Bricknell, head coach, Dunaújváros: The team played very tense in the first period, we had them under pressure but we did not play to the best of our abilities. If we only look at the second and third periods then the score is 2-2. We had chances but their goalie played well. I am happy that we did not fold after they scored goals against us, but we kept on working hard. We will work harder tomorrow.

Greg Lindquist, head coach, Brasov: We played well in the first period and scored three times, however I was still not satisfied with the way we played. We were missing the concentration that we had the game before against UTE. Even though we won easily I was not happy with the way we played.

Fehérvári Titánok-DEAC 4-2 (1-1, 1-0, 2-1)
With two late goals Fehérvár was able to end their four game losing streak. The Titánok were led to victory by the hat trick scored by Patrik Kiss and an empty net goal by Mark Bennett.

Dávid Kiss, head coach, Fehérvár: I am very happy and proud of the guys because they were able to get over this difficult stretch, we worked really hard for the win. We looked at some tape of plays where we did not play well and it looks like we worked out the problems that we had. I have to mention the way that our young goalie played and gave us the chance to win.
Áron Kecskeméti, goalie coach, DEAC: We knew that this would be a tight game and it would not be an easy game. They proved the last time we played them that they are a hard team to play. We have some injuries but we tried to get past this. We had some stupid penalties that hurt us today.

SC Csíkszereda-Vienna Capitals 7-1 (1-1, 2-0, 4-0)
The young Vienna Capitals hoped to keep Joakim Lundström, the Csíkszereda goalie busy. After back and forth hockey the opening goal was scored in the closing minutes of the first period as Konstantin Panov scored opening goal in the game but the Capitals answered back with a score by Bauer. The middle period start off with a scoring chance by Bauer but this was followed by Csíkszereda dominance as Panov, Casanaeanu and Fodor all had scoring chances but were not able to score. Radim Valchar put the puck into the back of the net to break the 1-1 tie. In the 32nd minute is was Tamás Részegh who scored on the first power play of the game to open up a two goal lead. In the third period Csíkszereda lifted their play to the next level as Tihamér Becze and Eduard Casaneanu both scored and Valchar had his second goal of the game.

Levente Hozó, head coach Csíkszereda: We made a lot of mistakes in the first period of the game but we were able to fix these in the intermission and we started to dominate the rest of the game. It is hard to motivate the players during games that they know they have to win.
Heiskanen Santer, head coach, Vienna: I am happy with the way we played in the first two periods, in the third period we scored a goal but that was disallowed because of a high stick and on the next rush they scored against us. With that the game was over, we made a lot of mistakes which a top team like this, takes advantage of.

Gyergyói HK-Schiller-Vasas 3-2 (1-0, 0-1, 2-1)
After making things tough for Csíkszereda, Vasas tried to do this against Gyergyó as well. Bence Bödök had a brace for the visitors, Roman Tomanek scored the winning goal for Gyergyó in the 58th minute. Gyergyó has won eight games in a row.

HK Budapest-UTE 0-5 (0-2, 0-2, 0-1)
UTE opened up a 2-0 lead in the first ten minutes of the game. Dávid Duschek picked up the shutout win and Taylor Stefishen had two goals.
