Ferencváros and DEAC copied the result that they had from three weeks ago. First place Csíkszereda scored ten goals, Dunaújváros won the Fejér county derby with Vienna upsetting Gyergyó.

FTC-Telekom-DEAC 3-2 (0-1, 1-0, 1-1, 0-0, 1-0)
In the game of the day, second place FTC hosted third place DEAC. The home team possesed the puck more in the first period. In the 14th minute, with DEAC on the power play Izacky had a long shot that ended up behind Arany for the goal.
In the second period FTC put pressure on the DEAC net, the home team tied the game up when Attila Pavuk redirected a shot from Dávid Jászai past Hetényi for the goal. Late in the period Adrián Tóth hit the post.
Early in the third period DEAC was on the power play, but were unable to score. In the 56 minute Barna Salló put a rebound in to give DEAC the lead. A minute and a half later, Rantanen made a long breakout pass to Braden Walls, who skated in and flipped the puck past Hetényi for the goal. After a scoreless overtime Ferencváros won the game in a shootout.

Szabolcs Fodor, head coach, FTC: DEAC played what they are good at, they defend well and create off of the counter attack. Zoltán Hetényi played great, today’s game was a déjá vu, everything was the same as three weeks ago. I am happy that we can win hard games like this, these are the ones that build character.

David Musial, head coach, DEAC: I am not disappointed, we worked hard in the defensive end, and from there we tried to build counter attacks. If we would have scored a second goal when we were up 1-0 the result of the game would have been different. It is hard to go home like this but I am happy for the one point.

Fehérvár-Dunaújváros 1-3 (0-1, 0-1, 1-1)
The visitors were more active in the first period of the Fejér county derby. Just as the first power play ended Viktor Török gave Dunaújváros the lead. Minutes later Gergely Tóth had the chance to double the lead.
In the second period Dunaújváros had more chances and in the end a shot by Turtiainen was deflected into the back of the net. Fehérvár was also creating chances but Máté Garbacz shut the door on them.
In the 44th minute of play Jack Lewis cut the DAB lead in half but in the end Fehérvár was unable to tie the game. Jabornik scored in the closing minutes to set the score at 3-1.

Dávid Kiss, head coach, Fehérvár: It looks like our power play and penalty kill units are still not working. We are working to fix this problem, some of the situations in the game we handled the way I would like to. We are missing the experience from our roster.

Antti Karhula, head coach, Dunaújváros: We skated well and worked hard, I think that we played well today. We could have had less penalties. The key to the win was that we worked well today. We managed to score two power play goals, if you are in a tight game, it will be decided on the power play.

Schiller-Vasas-SC Csíkszereda 3-10 (1-1, 0-4, 2-5)
In the first period Vasas, who was without Inglis, Bödök, Belényesi, Seregély and Pápa, managed to keep pace with Csíkszereda in the first period. In the second period it was evident that Csíkszereda was the better team. In span of ten minutes they scored four goals, with three of them coming on the power play. Radim Valchar and Szilárd Rokaly score two goals each with Tamás Részegh and Andrei Taratukhin both having a goal and three assists.

Balázs Ladányi, head coach, Vasas: We started off well but we knew that we will unable to hold that level until the end of the game. We can build off of this but unfortunately this is the difference between the two teams. We were soft in front of our own net.

Leo Gudas, head coach, Csíkszereda: I am happy with the result today, however the first period was not the real deal for us. In the second period we were able to show what we can do. The home team played well, but once we were up by three-four goals, they did not really have a chance.

Gyergyói HK-Vienna Capitals 0-1 (0-0, 0-1, 0-0)
The upset win that Vienna pulled off against Gyergyó has been the biggest surprise of the season. The only of the game was a shorthanded score by Hiltunen. Zimmermann stopped all 51 shots faced for the shutout win.
