Debrecen Shuts Out Galati with FTC and Brasov winning as well

Dávid Gyenes shutout Galati as Debrecen picked up a win, Ferencváros had an important win as they fight for a playoff spot, with Brasov beating DAB.

FTC-Sport Club 4-3
Ferencváros had Peter Sevela back in the lineup and starting in net, Csikszereda went with Otto Onodi on back to back days. It did not take long for the visitors to score as Radim Valchar scored 17 seconds into the game. Minutes later the game was all tied up at 1-1 as Ákos Kiss tied the game up 1-1 for Ferencváros. Later in the period Kiss and Alpár Salló had a disagreement for which both received 10 minutes. Carter Shinkaruk scored early in the second period for FTC for their first lead of the game. However this time it was Csikszereda who tied the game up by the way of Szabolcs Papp, the two teams headed into the third period all tied up at 2-2. Zoltán Molnár had Sport Club back on top in the 49th minute, minutes later Henrich Jabornik to pull Fradi even. Just as it looked like the game would go into overtime Attila Rafaj scored as Fradi picked up the home win.

DAB-Brasov 3-6
Brasov went back to Zoltán Tőke in net as Patrik Polc started in net, Dunaújváros had Dávid Duschek in net. The first period came and went with each team having a power play goal being scored by a defenseman. Richard Filip scored first for Brasov with Gellért Hruby scoring late in the period. The game kept on going back and forth as Tomas Klempa gave the lead back to the visitors with Keegan Dansereau tieing it up for DAB. Late in the period Zsolt Azari gave DAB their first lead of the game. An Ian McDonald goal tied the game up at 3-3, minutes later István Nagy had Brasov back on top, later in the period Roberto Gliga scored a shorthanded goal to have Brasov up by two goals. In the end Árpád Mihály tacked on an empty net goal for the final score of 6-3

DHK-Galati 8-0
Vlastimil Lakosil had the night off as Alexandru Popa started in net and Arnold László was the backup for Galati, Debrecen had Dávid Gyenes in net. Dávid Molnár, the young forward gave the home team the early lead. Later in the period Valeri Sadikov and Martin Saluga scored within a minute of each other to make it 3-0 for Debrecen. The only goal of the second period came off the stick of Norbert Hári as Debrecen went up 4-0. Saluga and Hári scored their second goals of the game early in the third period to go up 6-0, Later in the period Saluga completed his hat trick and Attila Németh tacked on one as the end. Gyenes went the distance for the shutout win.
