Szabolcs Fodor, head coach, FTC: We skated a lot and battled hard, we were lucky that we scored early on our chances and from then on we control the game. If we would have been able to score on the easy chances the score would not have been as close. I am happy about the three points and congrats to the guys for the way the battled.
Antti Karhula, head coach, DAB: We did not play well, we were a step behind the opponents for most of the game. Ferencváros is a good team and they deserved to win. We were lucky in the end that we were able to make it a one goal game. I hope that we will play better at home.
Corona Brasov-DEAC 1-6 (0-0, 0-4, 1-2)
In the first period the home team was a lot more active however neither team was able to score. Greg Lindqvist, head coach, Brasov: It is hard to win games if you don’t score any goals. We had created enough chances to play a tight game but we let in some easy goals. We made some big mistakes. We were slow with the puck, we were unable to score and we couldn’t win.
David Musial, head coach DEAC: I am happy that we were able to pick up the three points since we were able to defeat a good Brasov team. In the first period our goalie kept us in the game. Then we started to play the way we should have been playing from the start. In the third period we were able to protect the lead.

Leo Gudas, head coach, Csíkszereda: We were able to give players ice time who have not really had a chance to play or played very little. Overall this was a good game where we were able to keep the opponents to only one goal. I was satisfied with our defending and up front we created a number of scoring chances.
Balázs Ladányi, head coach, Vasas: Our goal was to keep the Csíkszereda goal scoring to a minimum, we know that they have a very strong team. We kept them at one goal for a long time. Wee did have one or two mistakes which prevented us from keeping up with Csíkszereda. I am satisfied with the way the team battled.
