Big Win for DEAC

First place Csíkszereda lost for the second time in a week, Brasov won another derby match

DEAC-SC Csíkszereda 6-0 (2-0, 3-0, 1-0)
SInce the end of their long winning streak Csíkszereda has lost two games in a row, DEAC had defeated Csíkszereda once they year already. DEAC went up 1-0 when they scored on their second power play of the game with Norbert Hári scoring the goal. A few minutes later DEAC had opened up a 2-0 lead with Arnold Silló doubling the lead. In the second period Debrecen added to their lead as Hugo Turcotte, Barna Salló and Jiri Biham all scored. In the third period Csíkszereda was not able to score, however Bronson Kovács quickly took advantage of a power play to open up a 6-0 lead. DEAC would shut the door on the potent Csíkszereda offense.

David Musial, head coach, DEAC: The key to the victory was that everyone concentrated and stuck to the game plan. This was a real team win, we are not talking about the game against Vasas anymore, everyone is working together. Hetényi played great in net and we had a great win today.

Levente Hozó, head coach, Csíkszereda: This was the second game in a row where we were not able to score a goal. We had our scoring chances if we score on them the game goes completely differently. We pushed for two periods but things didn't work out well for us.

Gyergyói HK-Corona Brasov 2-4 (0-1, 1-2, 1-1)
Mikael Tissel debut did not go as well. The home team had more shots on net in the first period but it was Dániel Tranca who scored to make it 1-0 for Brasov. In the second period Jereme Tendler doubled the lead for the visitors with Roberto Gliga making it 3-0. Gyergyó did not give up as Maxim Veshutkin made it a two goal game. In the third period Pavle Vorobjev made it a one goal game with a power play score. In the closing minutes Gyergyó pulled their goalie for the extra attacker but Gliga scored an empty net goal in the end.
