UTE comes back from the dead

Csíkszereda lost for the third time in row, Fradi and DEAC had shutout wins, Dunaújváros won on the road.

UTE-SC Csíkszereda 3-2 (0-0, 1-0, 1-2, 1-0) OT
The game of the day was full of excitement, UTE had more shots on net in the first period but neither team was able to score any goals. The ice broke in the second period as the teams were playing 4 on 4, Arnold Varga scored for UTE to make it 1-0. In the third period Csíkszereda got themselves together as Botond Flinta scored in the 47th minute and Tihamér Becze gave Csíkszereda the lead in the 55th. In the closing minutes UTE pulled their goalie and tied the game up with 13 seconds left to send the game into overtime. With 22 seconds left in the extra time Karol Csányi scored the game winner as UTE kept two out of the three points at home.

FTC-Telekom-Schiller-Vasas 2-0 (0-0, 1-0, 1-0)
Ferencváros dominated the game with having almost 50 shots on net with only two making it to the back of the cage. József Pleszkán picked up the shutout win for Ferencváros.

DEAC-Vienna Capitals 4-0 (1-0, 1-0, 2-0)
Debrecen already had a 1-0 lead in the fifth minute of play even though the scoring chances were even in the opening 20 minutes as Attila Németh had a solo goal. Vladislav Kuleshov scored in the second with Bronson Kovács scoring a brace in the third period. This was the second game in a row that DEAC had a shutout.

Gyergyói HK-Dunaújvárosi Acélbikák 1-3 (1-2, 0-0, 0-1)
DAB started off great as they jumped out to a two goal lead by the third minute of play on goals by Márk Nagy and Vladimir Dubek and Márk Nagy. Gyergyó got one back on the power play when Yezhov scored. The second period came and went without a goal being scored. The next goal was not scored until the 56th minute when Oula Uski scored with just four minutes left in the game.
