The U16 national team will be opening up training camp as they get ready for the 2019 MODO Cup in Sweden.
Head coach Peter Mayer and his coaching staff have announced their roster for the upcoming training camp. The roster is made up of four goalies, 12 defencemen and 18 forwards for a total of 34 players. There is a total of seven Hungarian clubs represented on the training camp roster.
Hungary will be taking part in the MODO Cup in Örsnköldsvik, Sweden in a 12 team tournament from December 27th through the 30th. The group stage games will be played on the 27th and 28th with the knockout stage starting on the 29th. Hungary will be in a group with Wings HC, Leksands IF, Almtuna IS, Vasteras IK and the host club MODO.
The training camp will be going from December 12th through the 14th at the Obuda ice rink. The team will be put through two ice practices a day with the final roster being cut down after the sixth practice.
