Antti Karhula, head coach, DAB: We started the game off flat, DEAC was better than us. They had a two man advantage that they scored off of. We had to stand up after being down 2-0, which we were able to do that. What killed us today was us taking too many penalties, which from they scored three goals. I am proud of the way the guys battled but this was not even close to our best game. We should have been able to hold on to the puck more often. We need to keep on working hard since we have a tough road trip ahead of us.

David Musial, head coach DEAC: The game started off well but there were a number of calls that I did not agree with for example the 5 on 3 shorthanded situation that we had. Aside from this I am very happy for the three points.

Gyergyó-Fehérvár 3-6 (2-0, 1-4, 0-2)
The home team already had the lead in the second minute of play off of a goal by Tomanek, Csergő doubled the lead off of a shorthanded goal. In the third period the young Fehérvár team scored two more goals by the way of Bennett and Lewis.

Dusan Kapust, head coach, HK Budapest: After our previous game, this one was a one goal game deep into the third period. We had the chance to tie the game up but we were unable to take advantage of it. In the third period once they scored their fifth goal they pulled away, Csíkszereda is a good game.

Balázs Ladányi, head coach, Vasas: This one point wasn’t one of those where you have to suffer for it, we gave away two points. We made some bad decisions but we did not have any longer time periods where we did not play well. We hit, we battled we scored goals against an experienced team. I am proud of the way we played and I tip my hat to the players.

Greg Lindqvist, head coach, Brasov:  I am sad that we were not able to pick up the three points, this is a big disappointment. We had problems scoring goals and we made some bad mistakes that lead to the goals that were scored against us.
