Hungary opened the tournament up against eventual champions, Russian club SKIF with a 3-0 loss. The second day of the tournament went much better as they picked up two wins, both in overtime. The first one was a 1-0 shutout win against East Coast Selection, from the United States, which was followed up with a 4-3 come from behind win over Germany. Hungary won their third game in a row with a 5-1 win against Pro Hockey, Dorka Szick finished with 2 goals and an assist, Petra Szamosfalvi had 2 goals with Dominika Horváth set up three goals.
Hungary shutout Italy 2-0 as Fruzsina Mayer and Szick both found the back of the net with Zsófia Tóth pitching the shutout. This was followed up with a game against Slovakia where they came up on the short side of a 2-1 score and Slovakia advanced to the finals.
The Hungarian squad took on East Coast Selection for third place and shut them out 2-0, Lara Strobl and Mira Seregély both scored in the win. In the end SKIF defeated Slovakia for the tournament gold.
