U20: “ These was a pretty intense three days”

During the first two days each team had a one goal win, in the third game the red team took a 2-1 win and they won the bragging rights in the locker room. Of course during the three scrimmages there were some bumps and bruises.

The next time the U20 team will be in camp will be in November for a three day training camp before heading down to Slovenia for a tournament against France, Italy and the host country of Slovenia.

Nátán Vértes, forward: These was a pretty intense three days that made up this training camp. In the mornings we had 45 minute tactical practices with an intrasquad scrimmage being played in the afternoons. It was not easy to be in top form since all of us played 2-3 games over the weekend before playing the three scrimmages in camp. We were able to play within the system better than in August in Sweden, and I think this will only get better with time, we will be better in November and hopefully perfect for when we play in the World Championships in December.

Dávid Kiss, assistant coach: We know that the players were either  coming from abroad or they had played 2-3 games over the previous weekend. However we really didn’t see players really get tired until today, the third and final day of the camp. The players competed and played well during the first two day, the head coach got to know most of the players during the August tournament in Sweden. This time he had a chance to see the players who were not here the last time.
