The U20 national team to open the Hungarian national team program with a three day mini camp as they take the first steps in preparing for the upcoming U20 Division 1/B World Championships that will be held in Poland in December.
Head coach Márton Vas and his coaching staff have named roster of four goalies 12 defencemen and 18 forwards for the three day mini camp that will be held between July 25th through the 27th at the Vasas Jégcentrum.
The 34 man roster has six Hungarian teams represented on it with eight players playing outside the country at this time. There are three players in Sweden, two in Switzerland and one each from Finland, Germany and the United States.
There are 15 players invited to the camp that participated in last season’s U20 Division 1/A World CHampionships in France with 10 players who were on the U18 Division 1/B World Championships in Kiev, Ukraine in April.
During the three day camp the team will have six ice sessions, two on each day. The first session of the day will be fifty minutes with the second session being 80 minutes. The team will also be put through an off ice fitness test.
