Glen Williamson and his coaching staff have announced a 35 man roster for the U18 World Championship training camp.
The U18 national team will be opening training camp on April 1st in the Tüskecsarnok with 4 goalies, 12 defencemen and 19 forwards who will be fighting for a roster spot to compete in the Division 1/A World Championships that will be held in Slovenia April 7th through the 13th.
The roster has 11 skaters who were members of the U20 national team that took gold at the Division 1/B World Championships back in December that were held in Budapest. There are five Hungarian clubs represented in the roster with 7 players playing outside of Hungary.
The training camp will have two on ice session on the opening day with a scrimmage and an ice practice on the second day. The two will have two exhibition games against Slovenia on both April 3rd and the 4th, the second game will be followed by the final roster cut. The team will be heading down to Slovenia the day before the start of the World Championships.
