The players covered the systems and tactics in the classroom that is in the Tüskecsarnok, with the goalies getting separate work being done by goalie coach Jukka Kontsas. On the ice the netminders had a separate on ice session with Jukka Kontsas. In the afternoon the players had another ice session where the players had scrimmage.
Viktor Tokaji: It was along two days, right in the middle of the season, and we could see that they were mentally tired, they were not as fresh as usual. Despite this we were able to cover all the topics that we wanted to. We wanted to instill in them topics and systems that they can able to take home to their clubs and make it their own. When they come back next time they will be better prepared for next time. This is not by accident that the system was set up like this, we want to see how the players can read and react when they are tired which will happen when they are at the World Championships. We the staff picked up a lot of knowledge about the players during the two days.
