The U14 closed out the monthly two day development camp that is held every month by the federation. The players had a chance to develope their skills both on and off the ice.

Assistant coach Bálint Arkovics talked about what the coaching staff saw during the two day mini camp as well as what they passed on to the kids. “ We had two days with two different groups on the one day we had the players that had been invited already in the past but we felt we still needed to do some work with them and also to see them even more. The other group was made up of players that we have not had a chance to see. Right now we have seen all the players that we will have a chance to see. I think this age group has all the skills that need to be successful.”

The kids also had presentation on the World Select tournament in which the Hungarian U14 tournament plays in at the end of the season. Some of the kids were very excited about the possibility of representing their country at the international level. “Some of the kids were surprised and are ready to experienced this, some of the kids looked as if they would be ready to go through the wall to make this team. This shows that they are motivated to do what they need to improve.
