The day started off with the Hungarian U15 defeating the Székely Academy by the score of 11-1 and the U16 winning their game 2-1.
In the main event Hungary opened up a 1-0 lead in the first period on a goal by László Ritó but with a Zsombor Antal goal the home team tied it up at 1-1 after the first period. Tamás Sárpátki scored early in the second period to make it 2-1 for the Szeklerland team. Minutes later it was tied up at 2-2 after Balázs Somogyi found the back of the net. Just past the midway point of the game Tamás Farkas scored a shorthanded goal to make it 3-2, but Gergely Borbás tied it up for Hungary before the period was over.
The score remained the same until the 55th minute when Hugó Gecse gave the lead back to the home team soon after Hunor Csergő had opened up a two goal lead. The final score was 6-3 as Tihamér Becze scored in the final minute.
