The Hungarian Antidoping Group (HUNADO) has officially notified the Hungarian Ice Hockey Federation (HIHF) they have found banned substances in the body of a national team player. The HIHF, in conjunction with the IIHF will decide what measures will be taken.
The HIHF has notified the player’s club and the proper authorities that the player is suspended pending the results of an investigation. The HUNADO have started the investigation, according to the HUNADO this does not mean that banned substances have been found necessarily. Once more information can be released the HIHF will have more details available at a later time.
