Gergely Majoross, head coach, MAC: The pace of the game was important to us, this is something that we will need during the season. Fehérvár forced us to play at this high level throughout the game. From this point this was good game for us. We could also see that or energy started to wain as the third period went on. We will be playing three games a week during the first part of the week. We will be using four lines regularly throughout the season.

Hannu Jarvenpaa, head coach Fehérvár: We lost the game tonight infront of both net, we created good scoring chances, but their goalie was able to see the puck. In front of Carruth we made a number of mistakes and we paid the price. We will need to practice good habits as we start to get ready for our game on Friday.
