Fehérvár AV19, MAC Budapest, DVTK Jegesmedvék and UTE are the four Hungarian teams who will be competing in the tournament along with four Slovak clubs, Nyitra, Érsekújvár, Poprád and Zsolna. The group stage will be preseason games as they will be held on August 22nd, 25th, 27th and the 29th. The quarterfinals will be on October 4th and the 11th, the semi finals on November 14th and the 29th with the finals being played on January 10th and the 17th.
The Hungarian teams will be in one group with the Slovaks in a separate however no team will face teams in their own group. The Hungarian teams will have four games against the Slovak teams. The top finishing team in the Hungarian group will face the fourth place team in the Slovak group with the second team facing the third Slovak team, etc.
