Brasov ties the series up at 1-1

After Debrecen picked up the win in the opening game of the playoff series, 24 hours later the two tames faced off against each other again. Brasov took game two to even the series up as they head to  Brasov for games three and four.

The two goalies from game one, where back between the pipes as Gyenes was defending this Debrecen goal, with Tőke in goal for Brasov. The visitors scored first as Árpád Mihály went down the right wing and shot the puck past Gyenes for the 1-0 lead. Minutes later it was 2-0 as Robert Gliga scored from the slot. Later in the period Garrett Clarke took a shot from the blue line that missed the al and bounced off the back boards, Gliga put the bouncing puck into the back of the cage. Early in the second period Jesse Schultz put a wrist shot past Tőke for the power play goal. Later in the middle period Brasov scored a power play goal of their own coming from Ian McDonald to put the visitors back up by three goals. Richard Filip took advantage of a five on three as Brasov opened up a 5-1 lead. In the closing minutes of the game Artyom Vaszjunyin got Debrecen within three goals but were not able to get any closer.
